Terms & Conditions: The Fish Tank Membership

General

1. These terms and conditions, in conjunction with the The Fish Tank privacy policy, are applicable across the The Fish Tank Membership schemes and any participation is considered as acceptance. Additional terms and conditions may be in place for optional elements of the scheme, examples of which include, but are not limited to, prize draws and competitions. Members participating in the optional elements of the scheme will be considered as having accepted the additional terms and conditions.

2. The Fish Tank reserve the right to alter or delete any of the The Fish Tank Membership benefits at any time without prior notice.

3. To be a member of The Fish Tank you must be aged 18 or over and be a resident in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

4. In order to receive emails from The Fish Tank, members must provide us with a valid email address and be opted into receiving email communications from The Fish Tank.

5. If you supply us with an email address you are consenting to receiving marketing material from The Fish Tank. The Fish Tank will not pass on your personal details to any third party except where we have your permission or where we are required to do so by law. 6. You cannot transfer the membership to anyone else.

Member Events

1. Members will receive invitations to exclusive member events via email provided this has been supplied by a member. Members can update their details at any time at The Fish Tank.com

2. Please note if a member has unsubscribed from The Fish Tank emails we may not be able to notify them about events.

Member Offers

1. Member offers are subject to availability and no cash alternative or substitution is available.

2. The Fish Tank exclusive member offers may not always be valid in conjunction with other discounts, offers or promotions.

3. The member must be logged in to thefishtank.com to qualify for exclusive member offers.

Priority Booking for Events

1. In addition to the automatic priority booking slots visible to members once logged in, members will be notified by email as to when priority slots for other relevant Fish Tank events will be available. Please note, not all The Fish Tank events will have priority booking slots.

2. If a member has unsubscribed from The Fish Tank emails we may not be able to notify them about priority booking slots.

3. Priority slots will be released a minimum of 24 hours in advance of general release.

4. Members must have a valid membership to be eligible for priority booking.

Access to Exclusive Online Content

1. Members can access exclusive content when available at The Fish Tank.com. Members must have a registered membership to do this and can register at The Fish Tank.com.

Direct Debit Fees and Charges

1. The first month's membership fees are collected from you by Debit / Credit card at time of purchase.

2. Your second Direct Debit for monthly membership fees only will be collected one month after you joined. Subsequent Direct Debits for monthly membership fees will be collected monthly thereafter. Each payment made is not refundable under any circumstances.

3. If any Direct Debit is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason, you shall pay us on demand an administration fee of £20. If, despite us having notified you of a missed payment, further payments are missed, we reserve the right to, at our sole election, either suspend or terminate your membership, upon having given you written notice of our intention to do so. We may present an option to reduce the administration fee if the outstanding amount is paid online within 7 days of becoming due.

4. You agree to advise us immediately of any change to the Members Details provided.

Direct Debit Prices

1. From time to time we may need to increase the price of membership. We will give you at least 1 full months' notice of any incoming price increase and will make it very clear when the price increase will take effect and how much your membership will cost after the increase. During this period, you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions and rules. If you do not terminate the membership by the date given to you in the notice, then the price of your membership will be increased in accordance with our notice.

Member Discount

1. The Fish Tank members benefit from a 20% discount on pre-booked swim sessions all year round. This does not include any lessons provided by our in-house swimming lesson provider, The Happy Swim Company.

2. The Fish Tank members benefit from a 10% discount on all party bookings made during their active membership period.

3. The discount(s) will automatically be applied at the online checkout.

Termination - Monthly Direct Debit Memberships

1. You may terminate your membership at any point by cancelling your direct debit with your bank, allowing 3 to 4 working days for the bank to action this. Please ask a member of staff or call us on 01325 965 965 for further details or help with cancellation.

Termination - Paid in Full Memberships

1. If you have purchased a Fixed Term membership you will be entitled to 50% of the pro rata’d amount as refund for any unused membership.
